Technical Manager required for Western Canada. Permanent position for RF Specialist with people management experience.

The Technical Manager is needed to lead delivery of RF design and optimization services for customers in Canada. The successful candidate will oversee a team of engineers in the delivery of all services related to RF design, RF optimization, and RF performance. Primary responsibilities include the following:
•Creating schedules and resource plans (ALU engineers, contractors, subcontracting, tools, etc.) for delivery of the contracted services.
•Ensuring successful delivery, including managing of changes/upscopes and managing of the financials for the projects.
•Working with internal ALU organizations (Program Management, Installation, Integration, Site Acquisition & Construction, etc.) to coordinate deliverables and address technical issues
•Managing the customer relationship
Qualifications
•Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
•Strong customer relationship, negotiation, leadership and management skills.
•Solid knowledge of RF Design and Optimization for CDMA and UMTS from both a technical and process perspective.
•Familiar with RF Planning/Design tools (Atoll, etc.) and RF Optimization tools (CAIT, Agilent, ACTIX, etc.).
•The individual will be located in Calgary, with heavy travel within Western Canada.
