LTE / UTRAN /NodeB Integration / Test Engineer

My client is urgently seeking a NodeB /LTE Integration Test Engineer for 6-12 mth contract in Europe.

You should have strong knowledge of Utran / 3G (priorities on Alcatel-Lucent System Engineering Standard) as a Minumum.

The engineer will be responsible for performing the following services and ensuring the following deliverables are fulfilled.

eNodeB Integration and Test

As part of the eNodeB (“eNB”) Integration and Test activities, the supplier will perform the following services:

load and install software loads on eNB
configure and boot up eNBs
load software loads on test mobiles
configure test mobiles
set up calls between test mobiles, eNBs cabled and over-the-air
drive tests in accordance with test plans and test descriptions
document test results in accordance with Alcatel-Lucent’s specification
document errors and file error reports
error re-creation in collaboration with cluster test and development
adjust test cases to changing configuration


End-to-End Performance (LTE E2E Key Performance Indicators)

As part of the End-to-End Performance testing, the supplier will perform the following services:

Set up and configure the LTE E2E Key Performance Indicator (“KPI”) Measurement environment, consisting of test mobiles, interface monitors, application servers and other components that may be required
completion of the LTE E2E KPI measurements
(stationary, on the move, mobility)
Analyse the KPI measurements in collaboration with development and Bell Labs
KPI optimization through parameter changes in the sole LTE network elements (eNB, ePC, etc.), of the test mobiles and applications (UDP, FTP, etc.) documentation of the optimized LTE E2E KPI results
