Engineer WiMAX/LTE 
XI’AN, CHINA 

Working within the Sales organization, you will provide pre-sales and post-sales activities for Sequans' System-on-Chips solutions for system vendors developing 802.16/WiMAX and LTE products. You are the primary interface to Sequans' licensed customers and prospects for all technical aspects of Sequans solutions. You are in charge of customer project management and work closely with the country manager to drive Sequans' revenues. Through your technical expertise and project management skills, you assist customers in all development stages of their products and their integration into a network and contribute to major design wins by promoting Sequans' products. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Provide project management and frontline technical support for licensed customers during all phases of product development. 
• Coordinate customer’s project internally within Sequans organization. 
• Build and maintain strong relationship with our customers. 
• Provide customer training for Sequans solutions. 
• Analyze application, WiMAX/LTE protocol and performances issues in lab or on the field and narrow them down. If needed, reproduce technical issues in simulation or on Sequans hardware platforms 
• Provide fixes or work-around to customers for level-1 technical issues or co-work with the level 2 support by providing them detailed analysis of customer’s issues. 
• Work with Sales to identify business opportunities and qualify new prospects 
• Respond to RFIs and RFPs. Analyze requirements for customer-specific developments. 
• Assess new customer needs and work with product marketing team to meet customer expectations. 
• Provide product demonstrations and attend major tradeshows to promote Sequans’ products 
• Report on a weekly basis a comprehensive statement your customers 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 
• Engineering degree 
• 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry 
• System-level knowledge of broadband wireless access systems or other similar wired or wireless systems 
• Previous experience in R&D (Embedded software preferred) and with the full product development cycle 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral 
• First experience with customers 
• First experience in project management 
• Fluent English & Mandarin
