2G Senior Optimisation Engineer

Senior GSM Optimisation Engineer is required for an initial 6 month contract based in Germany (Bonn / Nuremberg) for a major Telecom Vendor. The successful 2G Optimisation Engineer will work for a major telecoms manufacturer and assist with 2G/3G network swap project within one of their flagship projects. This is a great opportunity to work on a 2G swap project as a Senior 2G Optimisation Engineer.

The Role:
* Response for cluster/site/cell monitoring, analysis optimization, fine tuning and to guarantee the successful delivery of cluster/site/cell.
* Support regional engineers in technical issues
* Provide optimization technical support to customer teams. Write, review, adjust and present troubleshooting reports and other clarification materials to customers. 
* Understanding and monitoring the customer issues with the appropriate communication to the client. Reach customer satisfaction according to daily expectations
* Technical support and knowledge transfer to team members

Essential Skills & Experience:
* Experience in GSM/2G Radio Planning and Optimization. 
* Fluent English language skills, German language skill advantageous.
* ALU equipment experience is appreciated.
* Good teamwork spirit
* Good presentation skills
* Motivation and flexibility
* Willing to travel within Germany in short term with short notice
* Willing to work in high pressure, fast-paced changing and multi-culture environment
* Driving license
