Job Description:
Achieve & maintain the Radio network level performance from end to end, such as, Accessibility, Retain ability, Mobility & Service Integrity as an expert.

Analyzing & solving main radio network level optimization problems and critical optimization issues as an expert.

Responsible for end-to-end radio network RF and parameter optimization to reduce congestion and drops, improve the IRAT Handover, Soft Handover, Location Update, Paging, RRC Connection & RAB Establishment Success rate in his designated area for all Voice, Video Packet & High Speed, issuing capacity requests whenever needed.

Responsible for making radio network optimization strategy and plan for a long-term radio network optimization activity;

Responsible for communication and interface with customer to explain optimization strategy and plan, and the way to solve radio network main problems and critical issues.
Responsible for radio network team management, on-site training and improving the technical skills of team members.
Working Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in 3G Optimization, and 3 years of experience in Huawei 3G optimization will be better.
HSDPA/HSUPA optimization experience
Familiar with Huawei 3G equipment, features and parameters Master using and knowledge of Huawei UMTS troubleshooting, monitoring and optimization tools such as M2000, LMT, Nastar and Genex products.

Frequency Hopping Parameters

GSM defines the following set of parameters:

Mobile Allocation (MA): Set of frequencies the mobile is allowed to hop over. Maximum of 63 frequencies can be defined in the MA list.

Hopping Sequence Number (HSN): Determines the hopping order used in the cell. It is possible to assign 64 different HSNs. Setting HSN = 0 provides cyclic hopping sequence and HSN = 1 to 63 provide various pseudo-random hopping sequences.

Mobile Allocation Index Offset (MAIO): Determines inside the hopping sequence, which frequency the mobile starts do transmit on. The value of MAIO ranges between 0 to (N-1) where N is the number of frequencies defined in the MA list. Presently MAIO is set on per carrier basis.

Motorola has defined an additional parameter, FHI.

Hopping Indicator (FHI): Defines a hopping system, made up by an associated set of frequencies (MA) to hop over and sequence of hopping (HSN). The value of FHI varies between 0 to 3. It is possible to define all 4 FHIs in a single cell.

Motorola system allows to define the hopping system on a per timeslot basis. So different hopping configurations are allowed for different timeslots. This is very useful for interference averaging and to randomize the distribution of errors.

Radio Planning & Optimization engineer who wants to live and work in Europe

Currently we looking for radio planning and optimization engineers. The position is a permanent position and the company will take care of the working visa and providing flight and housing for the first week. The salary is in the level of local salaries.
