Looking for Customer Project Manager – RF Tuning and Optimization – Plano, TX

Fusion Solutions Inc. is a leading Technical Staffing and Consulting Service company looking for experienced RF PM with the following requirements.

Title: NTC RF Tuning and Optimization / Customer Project Manager 
Start Date: 2010-10-18 
Duration: Long Term 
Location: Plano, TX 

Scope of Work: 

• PM will need strong communication skills and report distribution discipline, to facilitate the need for strict communications both up and down the AT&T and Ericsson organizations. 
• Solid familiarity with the RF design lifecycle is also a key. 
• They will be mainly serving as an interface supporting the Program Manager, the RF Leads, the CU team in ATL and the National Radio CFR. 
• This position will serve more initially as a central hub for communications instead of being a lead decision maker on RF practice. 

The successful candidate will possess all the attributes of a strong (preferably PMI certified) Ericsson Customer Project Manager and also possess the following capabilities: 

• Experience in managing large teams of RF engineers, and drive test teams 
• Extensive experience in managing large network rollouts projects- RF Design, Pre and Post launch optimization. 
• Solid understanding of Network performance metrics and its impact on the end user experience- RF and UTRAN- (2G and 3G) 
• Extensive experience in managing Network Performance Improvement projects (NPIs) (2G and 3G) 
• Experience in managing project financials, change order management and driving towards improved margins 
• Proactive in identifying new add-on sales opportunities 
• Strong experience in scope definitions and cost estimates 
• Strong relationship building skills 
• Strong reporting, presentation and communication skills 
• Experienced in using SAP, MORE, SRM and Site Handler 
• The candidate should be able to work under pressure, and manage projects with tight timelines and limited resources. 
• Possess RF/UTRAN engineering background with minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or in a related managerial role.
