3G RAN Radio Optimisation & Planning Manager - Mobile Operator - Berkshire UK - (must be eligable to work in UK) to £70k + Car Allow + Bens + Bonus to 25%

3G UTRAN Radio Optimisation & Planning Manager required in Berkshire with extensive background in the majority of RAN Radio Performance, UMTS Radio Planning and Optimisation, W-CDMA, Radio Performance & Drive Test Tools eg (Actix, Nemo, Scanner), RF Planning Tools eg (Odyssey, Enterprise, Planet), RF Test Tools/RF Testing eg Agilent Scanner, Ue engineering test modes, RRM optimisation and strategy, GIS Tools, specialist coverage enhancement such as RF Repeaters, UMTS systems hardware, and emerging Radio technologies is required by world leading mobile operator.

This key role will be managing the RAN coverage evolution and will involve managing the partners to meet and exceed Radio Network KPI's, and to deliver radio network transformation programme. Which will involve conducting and co-ordinating radio performance enhancements & Optimisation and design reviews, and investigating more efficient 3G RF and RRM optimisation techniques. You will also be contributing to the UK coverage strategy and investigating different technical and commercial solutions to increase network performance, and developing a deployment plan for new 3G features, and managing financial budgets and forecasts. Other aspects will involve working with the business to understand network gains through consolidation.

This role will suite a principal radio engineer or manager who has leadership and strong commercial skills to deal with Radio partners and outsourced suppliers. This is an outstanding chance to develop your career with a world leading company.
