Core Network Engineer

Looking for Core Network Engineer (Operations and maintenance / Switching)

Currently we have an opening for Core Network Engineer with our client in Eastern Europe. It is a 6 months extendable contract position. 

Following is the job description: 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Responsible for all Core Network Operations and Maintenance 
• Manage the switching related data so that the information between the planning organisation and NOC corresponds to the physical network in the field 
• Organise and control database backupping 
• Organise and control billing data flow 
• Organise and control Change Note implementation into NSS 
• Manage software, parameter and feature changes to the NSS 
• Co-ordinate sw upgrading; manage the work done by dedicated support team 
• Co-ordinate the work in the switching sites when integrating new sites/making extensions to new sites 
• Responsible for keeping records of new installations/parameter changes 
• Co-operate with different units to ensure the best quality of the network. 

DELIVERABLES / PERFORMANCE MEASURES (Goals and targets to be achieved, reporting etc.): 
An efficient Switching team that ensures a well-planned ever-expanding network with the right parameters

• Experience in Nokia NSS 
• Experience in operating telecommunication networks
