Senior Engineer
Our client, an international software development company, is seeking a Senior Engineer for a full time, permanent position, based in San Francisco, California. This opportunity is with a stable company offering competitive compensation and benefits. Relocation assistance is available for out of state candidates.
This position is a dedicated customer support role working on site at the client. This individual will interact directly with client engineers and technology management. The primary function of this role is to support and advise the client on general market optimization, results data interpretation, and design tasks related to company purchased software. The skill set required for this position requires solid technical, communication, and presentation skills.
The primary responsibilities of this role are:
• Support and/or deliver company software at customer locations
• Provide optimization and design services to both 2G and 3G networks, including the possibility of project management and oversight
• Develop relationships with customers and assist sales and marketing teams in future opportunities
• Provide feedback to software development teams to improve software and/or processes
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Telecommunications
• Telecommunications industry experience
• GSM, UMTS and RF knowledge/experience
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Ability to effectively function independently
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Ericsson GSM or OSS experience is a plus, not required
