Senior RF Engineer, Huawei (Richardson TX)
Job Description:
RF Engineer Resource Pool Management:
Coordination and tracking of RF Engineering personnel assignments
Completion of various internal documentation, including Monthly Rolling Resource Forecast, and other such resource-related documents
Develop a Skills and Capabilities Assessment, and Gap Analysis for each RF Engineer
Develop individualized training plan to bridge Skills and Capabilities Gap for each RF Engineer
Interface with Technical Services Departments, Regional and HQ, to acquire various RF Engineering human resources
Subcontractor and Staffing Company relationship development and management
Serve as Resource Request collection point for all departments seeking NTS ( Network Technology Services ) resources
NTS Tools Management Identify, inventory, manage and track all NTS ( Network Technology Services ) Tools in the North American Region
Develop NTS Tools strategy to maximize tool usage efficiency and reduce cost
Coordinate with HQ NTS Tools Manager to understand, document and acquire internal tools
Coordinate with HQ NTS Service Sales Manager to understand and remain current of all NTS Tools resales policies, conditions, and opportunities
Serve as NTS Tools Subject Matter Expert in support of ASD and Sales organizations
Serve as NTS Tools Subject Matter Expert in capabilities and usage
Manage the continuity of Tools, including termination of use and license maintenance
NTS Engineering Design and Optimization Center Management Manage the facilities and physical assets of the NTS EDOC
Schedule and coordinate NTS EDOC use
Maintenance of all equipment, furniture and facilities
Interface with I.T. Department
Support RF Delivery Managers and Project Managers in use of NTS EDOC
Education and Experience:
At least seven (7) years RF Engineering experience; Prefer at least two (2) years RF Management experience
Prefer prior experience with OEM vendor and/or RF Services organization
Minimum Bachelor of Sciences in Electrical Engineering, or similar degree, or commensurate experience
Location: TX Richardson
Candidates must be flexible to travel.
Salary range $70 – 85k
