Senior RF Optimization Engineer

Highly skilled RF Engineer required for RF Optimization project
Description:
This expert Engineer will be responsible for delivering great results during performance improvement project at customer locations, including voice and data services and both RAN and Core network, with focus on RAN.
• Highly advanced senior lead individual contributor engineer with strong technical and leadership skills
• Processing and analysis of large and complex data sets in order to draw conclusions and determine solutions
• Innovation and development is often required when using new data sources and tools
• Knowledge of protocol analyzers, Layer 3 messages (TEMS Investigation and Visualization) and infrastructure vendor's advanced trace tools is required
Qualifications
Ericsson UMTS system RF experience is required
Good understanding of UMTS UTRAN and Core Network architectures is required.
Thorough understanding of the UMTS/HSPA protocols, call handling and signaling is required.
Work experience from Ericsson UTRAN is preferred.
Expertise in Analyzing and troubleshooting UMTS data performance issues is required.
Basic knowledge in SQL programming, protocol analyzers and other Performance Tools is preferred.
Good verbal and written presentation and communication skills are required.
Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience is required, a Masters degree is preferred
